Transport availability in Moonah
Several transportation options are available for travelling to and around Moonah, including bus, taxi, car, bike, and walking.
Public transport into the city takes about 24 minutes, passing through Moonah every 10 minutes Monday to Friday, every 20 minutes Saturdays, and every 30 minutes Sundays and public holidays. “From the Cenotaph, the cycleway follows the Derwent River upstream, passing under the Tasman Bridge and close by the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Further on, the playground at Cornelian Bay is just a short side trip away and an excellent spot for a snack or picnic. Schools in Moonah
Situated within the suburb of Moonah are St Therese’s Catholic School and Bowden Road Primary School. Moonah Primary School is located just across the suburban border in Derwent Park. All three primary schools are co-educational and cater for Kindergarten to Year 6.
